Purpose
It is a fluorescent dye used to detect DNA and RNA.

Acridine orange, Acetate buffer, Stabilizer
Working Principle
Acridine stains are organic dyes derived from acridine. These are compounds used to detect nucleic acids. Acridine stains not only color the sample but also react with nucleic acids, changing the color of the substance. This method is called fluorescence microscopy. It facilitates the visualization of cells containing DNA or RNA, which is very important when examining biological objects.
