Title Description
REF No 5039
Purpose It is used to examine smears made from blood and bone marrow cells by staining.
Ingredients A) Wright-Giemsa Stain Solution: Wright dye, Giemsa, Glycerol, Methanol, Buffer
B) Wright-Giemsa Buffer Solution: Ethanol 96%, Phosphate Buffers
C) Wright-Giemsa Rinse Solution: Methanol, Brij 35
Working Principle Wright-Giemsa staining can be applied quickly and effectively and helps to highlight a wide range of cellular structures. This staining method is one of the most widely used neutral staining methods. In the neutral staining method aimed at by this kit, a single dye solution is used. Wright-Giemsa dye solution has two basic characters: acidic (anionic) and basic (cationic). These dyes are a mixture of xanthene and thiazine group dyes. Xanthene-thiazine staining procedures are the most widely used and most modified staining procedures. This set in your hand is one of the newest modifications of this general method. Its advantages can be listed as follows:
1) Many dyes are contained in a single dye solution and have polychrome properties.
2) The number of stages is reduced to a minimum.
3) The staining time is greatly shortened.
4) Unlike its competitors with the same modification, the set contains organic buffers.
5) Wright-Giemsa stain solution contains organic buffers. The most important feature of the Wright staining procedure is its speed. Speed provides significant usage advantages over the Giemsa staining procedure. The Giemsa procedure offers the advantages of strong, high-quality staining and the immersion method. This method combines the significant advantages of both procedures.
