GBL® ROSA-STAIN
2826-Papanicolaou EA-50 Stain
Title
Description
REF No
2826
Purpose
Designed for general laboratory use. It is used for cytologic cancers and cycle diagnosis.
Ingredients
Eosin Y, Phosphotungstic acid, Methanol, Ethylene glycol, Acetic acid, Light green SF
Working Principle
Papanicolaou EA-50 Stain is a type of cellular examination stain. This stain is used in a screening test known as a Papanicolaou (Pap) smear test. The Pap smear test is a test for the early detection of cervical cancer and other reproductive diseases. EA-50 refers to a mixture of eosin-azur-eosin, a type of stain. This staining method is used to make cells better visible under a microscope. The structure and morphology of the cells are highlighted and examined with this stain. In this way, precancerous changes or other pathological conditions can be detected.
