Purpose |
Light microscopy is a dilution solution used to count erythrocytes (red blood cells) in blood samples. It is used for manual erythrocyte counting with a hemocytometer (counting slide). |
Ingredients |
Sodium Chloride, Sodium sulfate, Mercury II chloride |
Working Principle |
Erythrocyte Counting Solution (Hayem's Solution) provides a medium in which erythrocytes are diluted and preserved, allowing for a clearer count under the microscope. During examination of blood samples under the microscope, it helps obtain accurate results by preserving the structural integrity of erythrocytes. |
